DJ Charlie Hedges spinning tunes at the Sandown Park Ladies Day.
Sunderland’s Silksworth Sports Complex and Ski Slope is hosting a ‘kickstart to the ski season’ après-ski party, with music from international Radio One DJ Charlie Hedges.
Ski slope operator Everyone Active are putting on their event on Friday 24 October between 5pm and 10pm.
The facility will be turned into a ski village, offering taster sessions, free snow tubing, a showcase from their ski school, and a range of food, drink, and retail vendors.
People who can ski will be able to hit the slopes but for anyone interested in learning to ski, there will be demo skis to test out and taster sessions all night for £5.
You might even leave with new equipment or a ski holiday, as ski-gear sellers and tour operators will be at the party.
The organisers want to create a ‘relaxed party atmosphere’ at the ‘opening night to the season’ and, if the event is a success, they are looking to do it on a regular basis.
DJ Charlie Hedges has performed across the globe and now hosts BBC Radio One’s Dance Anthems show every Saturday and BBC Radio One’s Live Lounge.
There are still tickets available at £10 each and under-fives go free.
