Former Estate Agent outlines problems that first time buyers face when purchasing a property

Over the last few years, first-time house buyers have been clearly affected by the rising prices of houses in the North East.  

One of the main problems that people are facing these days is an inability to successfully raise enough money to put down as a deposit.

We spoke to former estate agent Andrew Jacques about the problems people have due to the cost-of-living crisis in England at the minute.

 

Since 2019, the average house price has increased by almost £20,000, making it incredibly difficult to save up for a deposit.  

With almost everything else increasing in price too such as food and electricity, it is clear to see the massive problem when wanting to purchase your first property.
