Lauran Hibberd’s music is often referred to as ‘slacker pop’, but she’s certainly not been slacking over the years, consistently releasing singles since 2018.
However, the singer-songwriter from the Isle of Wight is ready to release her debut album later this year.
Lauran will be in the North East later this month when she performs at A Stone’s Throw Festival. In this interview, we chat to her about visiting the North East, her favourite lyrics she’s written, and confusing text abbreviations, of course.
