JJ O’Donnell talks ahead of the Northumberland Senior Cup Final at St James Park

Blyth Spartans are set to face Newcastle United Under 23s in the Northumberland Senior Cup Final on Thursday, 5 May 2022 at St James Park.
The Spartans reached to final after beating Bedlington Terriers 1-0 in the semi-final, while Newcastle saw a penalty shootout victory against North Shields after the game originally finished 1-1.
Both sides won their last game in preparation for the cup final, as Blyth won 1-0 against Curzon Ashton in the National League North, whereas Newcastle defeated Aston Villa U23 2-1 in the Premier League 2 Division 2.
