Eurovision 2022: Andromache – Ela Review

This is the sound we’ve been waiting for. The authenticity of the Cypriot music scene is finally back on display at Eurovision with Andromache’s track Ela (English: Come).
Through the guitar, the drums and the hints of vibrato in Andromache’s voice, Ela transports you straight to the Mediterranean.
The chorus of Ela starts, stops then starts again. It really is two for the price of one.
You might think that with 10 songwriters on the track Ela would get lost travelling in different directions, but the entire team have found the perfect sound for Andromache to show off her talent. This is undeniable pop music.
