Newcastle-based band, The Pale White, have just announced a UK-wide tour for 2026. The venues span from Edinburgh to London, ending with a final wrap-up in Newcastle.
The alt-rock band, currently consisting of brothers Adam and Jack Hope, originated in Wallsend and has been actively gigging since 2016. They have been from success to success in recent years. Starting with playing the BBC Introducing Stage at Glastonbury in 2017, to just coming off a worldwide tour with Pixies and to releasing their newest album The Big Sad in April 2025, the Pale White are celebrating their homecoming with a stop at the Boilershop on April 17 2026.

The band said: “This tour shows the longevity of the band, marking 10 years since we were being told to turn down in pubs. We’ve been on a wild journey since then, touring the world with some of our favourite bands and having the honour of still releasing songs and albums we’re very proud of.
“Before our momentum was interrupted by the pandemic, we played Newcastle’s prestigious Boilershop. This is the special moment we get to return and continue on from where we left off on our journey. We simply cannot wait to play to all of our fans – old and new.”
Touring with The Pale White is North East psychedelic rock band Scott Hepple and The Sun.
Scott Hepple, from Scott Hepple and The Sun, said: “The Pale White are really good pals of ours, we’ve wanted to play together for a while now, so glad we’ve managed it!
“We’ve been lucky enough to play all over Europe the past few years, and we haven’t really played that much in the North East. I’ve recently realised how appreciated we are in the area and we’re excited to play Boiler Shop for the first time, where we’ve seen many of our favourite bands perform over the years.”
