The band consists of four members Tobey Hall,19, Joshua Hancox,19, Fynn Bowman,19, and James Bacon,20. Tobey is the Vocalist and also plays the Rhythm Guitar. Fynn is the Lead Guitarist. Joshua is the bands Bass Guitarist and James is the Drummer.

Primaveras have many songs, including favourites such as Tarantino, Taboo, Crazy Paving and Pleased to Meet You. The band have performed at multiple North East venues such as Independent, The Peacock, and Little Buildings.

Back in January 2024 they opened the show for the Futureheads at The Lubetkin Theatre in Peterlee. Some of their gigs outside the North East include performances in Norwich and even Holland.

When asked about making connections with other bands Joshua said: “Making contacts with people around the country is something our band has done and even allowed us to play in Norwich.

“That experience of travelling and playing at new areas is definitely the best way to expand your network.”

Drummer James spoke about his most memorable highlight with the band : “I enjoyed my first ever gig with the lads the most on 2nd September 2023 at Independent, it was just a class night and I remember the atmosphere was mint.”

Fynn discussed the comparison between performing live compared to studio practice: “The main difference for me is the energy. There’s no feeling like being on stage and letting out whatever energy you have.

“It’s a cycle really, the crowd buzzes off it and it makes everything seem electric. Even in our rehearsals the energy is still high, we feed in to each other, it’s always a natural emotion too, I love playing live and always will.”

Vocalist Tobey talked about the bands aims for the future: “For me I just want to gig more and get around the country, it’s the best part. I’ve got my eyes on certain venues I want to play in the future, more recording sessions as well.”

Tobey teased plans for the near future, adding: “We may or may not have something planned for this summer.”
