Newcastle landmark Tyne Bridge refurbished with Government grant

North East landmark, the Tyne Bridge, undergoes refurbishment after a £35 million grant from the Government.
The Tyne Bridge is undergoing a four-year work process which is set to include: joint replacement, resurfacing and full repainting alongside other repairs.
The work, which began April 2,2024, was funded by a £35.2 million grant from the Department of Transport.
