Hey guys I’m LNX an upcoming artist from Manchester and my main genre overall I’d say is pop but I do like experimenting with different styles and genres too. My inspiration as an artist is my passion for music since I was a kid remembering all the lyrics to my favourite songs on the radio and singing them non stop at home too. My dream as an artist would be to become one of the biggest artists In the UK one day and performing at multiple shows and festivals etc. I use my music as a way to open up on how I feel as I struggle letting my emotions out sometimes so writing lyrics etc is a form of narrative therapy for me to convey my feelings hoping they resonated connect with anyone that listened to my music.

This song is called “2008”. Fittingly enough, it is about our worries for the future with housing prices on the increase.

Katie Colburn – Im a singer songwriter from the north east. I started writing during lockdown and this song, faking it, is all about social media and the how we can fall into the trap of pretending to be something different online. I’m excited to be working on my next project which is an EP – it’s going to have a Beatles style feel and I’m looking forward to releasing in the coming months.
