North East based students skipping meals to pay for university in cost of living crisis.

Polling statistics from The Sutton Trust suggest that 63% of students surveyed reported having spent less on food and essentials, with 28% saying they had skipped meals to save on food cost
With the ever-increasing cost of living crisis clouding over deprived areas in the North East, students are some of the most struggling individuals in today’s society. I spoke to a students at Northumbria University and found out how they’re coping at the moment.
