“This is my second home now” Ukrainian refugee is chasing her photography dream at Whickham FC

Anna Bondarenko arrived in the north east in 2022 after fleeing the war in Ukraine and moved in with a family in Whickham.
She endured a long journey from Kremenchuk to the UK by train and is now focussing on her dream job in the photography and illustration industry.
Currently working as a photographer for Northern League side Whickham FC, she has started her journey towards her dream.
