Snow has hit many areas in the Tyne and Wear region causing an avalanche of pictures from the public.
‘Weather’ you have given the snow a ‘frosty’ reception or have ‘hailed’ it as a welcome sight, there are many places that have caught the public’s imagination.

What’s the Weather?
According to The Met Office, temperatures are set to rise in the region above freezing.
A yellow weather warning has been put in place this Sunday (December 18) for snow and ice across Scotland and large parts of Northern England.
