The Richard O’Brien-written cult comedy hits Sunderland Empire tonight, wrapping up a week of North East touring for the hit production.

The fact that Sunderland Empire is now open, it absolutely fills my heart. That theatre is the West End of the North East, one of the best theatres that you can be in.

If you have a chance this week, go and see Rocky Horror. Honestly, the cast is sublime.

Ore Oduba, who won Strictly Come Dancing a few years ago, oh my goodness, that man has a voice from something else.

The guy who played Frank-N-Furter, Steven Webb, the whole cast, the narrator, absolutely off his rockers hilarious, and Christine Laviscom, has performed comedy more times than Richard O’Brien (who wrote the show).

I’ve got to say, it was just absolutely incredible to see West End talent hit the North East, just incredible.
