The Sunderland 2026 Big Weekend Line-up Confirmed!

BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend 2026 is heading to Sunderland this May, located at Herrington Country Park spanning over three days from Friday 22 to Sunday 24. Previously, we gave our predictions but now the official line-up and tickets are out!

Friday, May 22 (18+ only):

As the designated ‘Dance Party’ day of the weekend, the line up is filled with thrilling acts such Fatboy Slim, Clementine Douglas, FISHER, Sonny Fodera and MK on the Main Stage.

For the New Music Stage we have Ahadadream B2B Arthi, horsegiirL, L.P. Rhythm, Ewan McVicar, NOTION and Marlon Hoffstadt.

And on the BBC Introducing Stage, Jaguar, Max Jones, Anish Kumar, Mia Lily, Niamh, Ellie Scougall and Sorley will be performing.

Saturday, May 23:

The Main Stage is full of glimmering acts such as Zara Larsson, Ellie Goulding, Skye Newman, Louis Tomlinson, Lola Young and Nothing But Thieves.

You can find James Blake, Rachel Chinouriri, Florence Road, Erin LeCount, Wasia Project, Muna and Mitski on the New Music Stage.

The BBC Introducing Stage will feature artists Bella Barbe, BombayMami, Heidi Curtis, LeoStayTrill, Aaron Rowe and local artists Tom A Smith and Swindled.

Sunday, May 24:

And for the most anticipated day of the weekend, we have an exciting line up for the Main Stage from rising star Olivia Dean, CMAT, Myles Smith to established legends such as Niall Horan, Kehlani and Dermot Kennedy.

The New Music Stage has talented acts like Ezra Collective, FLO, Holly Humberstone, Maisie Peters, Alessi Rose, Odeal and Jorja Smith (Party Set).

As for the BBC Introducing Stage: Able Jack, DC3, Finn Forster, Imogen and the Knife, RUBII, Venus Grrrls and Wohdee will be performing,

Sunday is unfortunately sold out but according to the BBC highlights will be posted to its social media channels, broadcasted on BBC Introducing shows and will be available afterwards on BBC iPlayer and BBC Music’s YouTube channel.
