A group of students has organised a night full of charity fundraising fun involving non-stop playing of popular video games including League of Legends, Valorant and Teamfight Tactics. There will also be donation goals and challenges. One of the organisers, student Harrison Richardson, 20, said: “We have donation goals that means certain things will be done if we hit them, including sharing old photos of ours, people dying their hair and more!”

The event tonight (Friday, September 26) is being held for the Alzheimer’s Society. Aemrys Simpson, 21, the Events and Charity lead, said: “There is a long history of Dementia and Alzheimer’s in my family, and I know and felt how much the disease affects patients and people who love the person.”

You can donate to this great cause here.

Harrison added: “We’ve done a decent bit of prep to ensure that everything should work, including stream overlays, donation goals and making sure the game actually works.”

The fun starts at 7pm, on Twitch.
