In an Instagram post from November 30th, she promoted the release of MONARCH. In the caption, she wrote: “A story of power, rhythm and taking the throne.”

7IFFY first started rapping during COVID in 2020, when she was just 17 years old. To begin with, she was mainly interested in singing, however, during this time, she tried out rapping and started writing her own songs.

After being complimented by her friends, she started producing original songs and content of her rapping. She said: “I started to gain some “fame” and fans as well and even got noticed by some organizers to invite me to their show for performances!”

In her new song, 7IFFY raps in both English and Mandarin. However, she has only just begun doing this, having mainly rapped in English previously. She said: “Lately I’ve been starting to rap in Mandarin and English both at the same time.”

She is now signed with BILLIONAIRE RECORDS. Her other songs include: Sun&Moon&Stars, Get to Ace and Lost Town. She added: “I would like to let people know that there is this rapper in Malaysia and I hope to let my music be heard by all around the world.”

Due to technical issues, MONARCH is yet to be released on Spotify, but the music video is now available to watch on YouTube.
