Hartlepool Soundwave Festival returns as Kaiser Chiefs headline

Indie rock band Kaiser Chiefs will be the headline act as Soundwave festival returns to Seaton Carew for the second year.

After Bastille set the town alight for the event’s maiden year last summer with over 5,000 people gathering by the sea, and on the back of the incredible success, organisers worked hard to lock down their number one target for the second edition this July.

The five-piece band – led by vocalist Ricky Wilson – will perform on Seaton Carew seafront on July 27.

An event that many are hoping will become a regular thing, also provides a huge influx for the finances of Hartlepool’s hospitality sector.

Tickets can be bought on the Soundwave website here.
