Sunderland Til I Die Season 3: Release date confirmed

Sunderland Til I Die is officially coming back to Netflix for its third and final season on the 13th of February. A new trailer is yet to be released for the third season, but it is widely reported that the series will consist of three episodes focusing on the Black Cats’ climb out of League One.

Originally released in 2018, Sunderland Til I Die became an instant hit with football fans all over the world. The show has been regarded as one of the most in depth and successful sport documentaries of all time, as it followed the club’s fall from the Championship to League One.

A small amount of people have been lucky enough to gain access to an early viewing of the third season. Sunderland Nation journalist Michael Graham, via X, said, “Lucky enough to get an early viewing of Sunderland Til I Die Season 3 and I’m in emotional bits here. Absolutely brilliant. Just get some tissues ready. Pride, passion, sadness, joy… the lot and more.”

Graham Falk from the What the Falk podcast, also took to X to say, “Been lucky enough to get a preview of the new series of Sunderland Til I Die. Let me tell you, this is a masterpiece and I most definitely cried… lots.”

“We are ending Sunderland Til I Die on a high.” Leo Pearlman of Fulwell 73, the company behind the production of Sunderland Til I Die said.
