Ahead of Sam Fender’s sell out two-day gig, I had a look back at his career. From the very start performing at small pubs around the North East, headlining tours across the globe to performing at his boyhood club. It has been an easy ride for the North Shields lad, dealing with mental health problems throughout his career, however the St James’ Park gig will be something he and his family will remember forever.
