Sun City Tri Club prepare for 2022 European Duathlon Championships in Bilbao

The European Duathlon Championships are set to take place in Bilbao in September later this year and members of the Sun City Tri Club have been taking part in training sessions every Wednesday evening.
One member, Simon Reynolds, who has competed in the Championships previously in Romania, Germany and Spain, is now attempting his fourth race and has been a key member of the club for over a decade.

The training sessions are taken by Gordon Stutchbury, who helps to coach experienced members of the club for future events but also welcomes any newcomers who want to attempt a duathlon for the first time.
The training consists firstly of running five laps of a track, followed by another ten laps on a bike, and then finally running five more laps to finish off.
