Acclaimed theatre production and cult movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show is headed to Sunderland Empire next week.
From the 20th to the 25th of September, audiences can witness the Christopher Luscombe-directed stage adaptation.
The adventures of squeaky-clean college kids Brad and Janet are set to hit the stage in a two-hour show.
Strictly Come Dancing winner Ore Oduba is set to star in the musical adaptation of Richard O’Brien’s cult classic.
Oduba said: “I can’t wait to join the cast of the Rocky Horror Show. Like everybody, I’ve missed the stage so much and Rocky really is the perfect show to welcome audiences back to theatres. It’s such an iconic musical with songs that everyone knows, so I’m sure the Rocky fans will be desperate to do the Time Warp again!”
Joining Oduba are supporting castmates Stephen Webb, Lauren Ingram, and Philip Franks as The Narrator.
Tickets are available from £13.00 with shows from Monday to Saturday. Monday to Thursday shows wrap at 8pm, while Friday and Saturday shows end at 8:30pm.
