Due to the charity Tiny Lives, the children’s book is now being provided in support packs to families with babies that are being treated in local neonatal units. The charity helped fund Hannah’s book and bought the first 500 published editions of the book.
The book is also available to pre-order now.
Tiny Lives is an organisation that supports premature and sick newborn babies and their families across the North East and North Cumbria. It is primarily based at the neonatal unit in Newcastle Royal Victoria Infirmary.
Hannah wrote and illustrated the book after spending time in both neonatal units in 2018 with her husband, Mark, and son, Peter, who was born three months early.

This interview was filmed at the Sunderland café Shahi Chai, one of the main locations and inspirations when Hannah was writing her book.
