Taylor Swift: The Life of a Showgirl Launches in the North East

North East Swifties – it’s time to head to your local cinema and secure tickets for a night of Taylor Swift on the big screen. She returns with an 89-minute release party event to celebrate her twelfth studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, arriving on Friday 3 October.
The film will include the exclusive world premiere of the Fate of Ophelia music video, plus never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, new lyric videos, and stories behind each of the tracks on the album.
Tyneside Cinema is thrilled to host the latest Taylor Swift cinematic event, following the hugely popular screenings of The Eras Tour in 2023.
“We’re screening Taylor Swift’s latest release from 20:15 on Friday night, and continuing throughout the weekend – giving fans plenty of opportunities to catch The Official Release Party of a Showgirl,” a spokesperson said.
As with The Eras Tour, fans will also be able to enjoy Taylor Swift music in the Bar Café ahead of the first screening on Friday evening.
The celebrations don’t stop there – Digital Newcastle will host a dedicated Taylor Swift night on Saturday 11 October, featuring the best of her music alongside every track from the new album.
