Volunteers from across Whitley Bay pulled together last weekend to bring a spectacular light art show to St Paul’s Church on a dark and chilly winter night.
Community events group Fiesta Whitley Bay (FWB) returned with their Lightwaves exhibition for the second year in a row, almost doubling their contributing artists and welcoming more than 1,000 visitors through the light trail laid out in the church’s grounds.
Chair of the FWB committee, Stephen Taplin, spoke to Spark’s Eleanor Tait about the event.
