South Shields FC’s 1st Cloud Arena played host to a charity football showcase between content creators and supporters alike.
The unofficial Tyne-Wear Derby game starred names such as Adam Pearson, Roobenstein and SAFC Fans React which resonate with local supporters of bost Newcastle United and Sunderland.
The event – hosted by Back of the Net – was deemed ‘a success’ by Sam Jones, a member of the organisation.
Jones, 23, worked closely with mental health charity Washington Mind to create a safe space and a notable event which raised awareness for mental health but also offered support for those involved on the pitch.
The event has since raised £2,000 for Washington Mind.
