South Shields International Academy: Success in inaugural season and launch of women’s team

Amid a successful first season, South Shields International Academy looks to expand its program with the addition of a women’s team.
In September, South Shields FC’s International Academy launched with the University of Sunderland, drawing talented players worldwide, notably from North America, eager to enhance their football skills and education.
With a strong commitment to individual and team development, the academy has achieved impressive results, guaranteeing a top-half finish in the league and a quarter-final place in the cup.
Looking ahead the academy is pushing for expansion, with a new intake of men’s players in September including the establishment of a women’s international team.
