Calling all foodies – restaurant week is here!
Sunderland Restaurant Week (March 4 to March 12) is just around the corner, and Spark have found five deals to get you sorted for this exciting week ahead to make sure you don’t miss out!
Fausto Coffee
Fausto Coffee, located on the beautiful Marine Walk on Roker beach, are best known for their amazing fresh pizzas and super tasty coffees. They have an amazing pizza menu and some yummy toasted bagels which are a great Sunday fix.
Their restaurant week deal is two pizzas for £15 which is a great deal as they pizzas are huge as well so you definitely won’t be going hungry!

Roma Italian
Roma Italian, located in the city centre, is a great Italian restaurant which serve a combination of modern and classic Italian dishes that everyone can enjoy! Roma has recently earned the distinction of being voted one of the best Italian restaurants in Sunderland, you can’t get much better than that.
Their restaurant week deal is a starter and main for £15 from a large selected menu, there’s something for everyone!
The Rainbow Hub
The Rainbow Hub is a cute café in Sunderland that sells homemade foods, and as a LGBTQIA+ social hub welcomes all. This is such a friendly café that sells amazing food at such a good price, and its super friendly vibe makes it a lovely place to meet new people. They sell a wide range of foods from smash burgers to a full English, so you can’t go wrong!
Their restaurant week deal is £10 for a main, dessert and a soft drink. The portion sizes are big as well and their desserts? All I can say is WOW.

Gatsby
Gatsby is a traditional pub that serves proper pub grub, located in Sunderland city centre, which has a great atmosphere. Their menu is great and if you fancy a traditional pub meal then this is the place to go as there’s never a dull moment either.
Their restaurant week deal is two courses or £10 or three for £15 from a selected menu but there’s so much choice including pizzas to sandwiches the choice is endless.
808 Bar and Kitchen
808 is a really nice vibrant restaurant in the middle of Sunderland. With its super modern with stylish décor, they serve a huge selection of unique tapas and bao buns and super lush cocktails, so is a great place for a date night. The vibe is so cool in here and it definitely helps the food is amazing.
Their restaurant week deal is £10 for a bao bun and fries, £15 for 3 tapas and a side and £20 for 4 tapas. This is a great deal as there’s loads of options and the portion sizes are good. Mixed with a few drinks it’ll feel comfortable on your stomach.
