Hebburn Town clinched promotion on the final day of the regular season after beating the oldest club in English football Sheffield 2-0 away from home. In a game that came with rife pressure, Hebburn held their nerve as nearest rivals Stockton Town did their job by winning 4-0 against Belper Town.
In what has been a successful 5 years for Hebburn Town their achievements are as follows:
Two promotions
The FA Vase Trophy in 2020
A JR Cleator Cup in 2021
A Durham Challenge Cup in 2023
Having missed out on promotion last season after losing on penalties to Long Eaton United, Hebburn overcame their demons and secured promotion this time around after their disappointing end to the last campaign.
Hebburn will now go head to head against some of the biggest clubs in the non-league frame such as Blyth Spartans and Macclesfield FC.
