Transgender woman turns to Crowdfunding for hormone therapy

More and more trans people across the UK are having to set up crowdfunding pages to afford their transition. As NHS waiting lists grow, the trans community is raising their funds to receive treatment privately.
Phoebe Jackson is just one of those people, after; coming out as transgender 18 months, she decided to medically transition. To raise funds to do this, she set up a Go Fund Me page, asking friends and family to donate.
She spoke to Spark about her transition journey so far and why she turned to crowdfunding.
