WATCH: Swindled guitarist Alex Winn speaks about their single releases ahead of their upcoming EP ‘What A Nightmare!’

Swindled are a 5-peice pop band, from Sunderland, who burst onto the scene with great harmonies and intricate lyrics. Swindled are looking for this EP to take the band away from their debut sound to their new Art pop era.
To start 2025 Swindled released ‘Dear Past Life” featuring Lottie Willis, A feature which was inspired by Sunderland recently becoming a music city. Alex describes the tune as ‘upbeat and anthemic’ which was why it was chosen as the first song release. As the band wanted a powerful and strong start to a huge 2025.
The second single released in 2025 was ‘cosmic immigrants’ in which Alex described as ‘the best’ on the EP, a different type of track compared to their usual releases, but still a successful one, nevertheless.
The third and final single before the full EP release is called Withdrawal symptoms, the track brings a new party vibe to the Swindled discography, while still contributing to the band’s artistic evolution. Withdrawal symptoms is available on all platforms June 6th.
