Northumbria Uni Student Highlights Substance Abuse Struggles in Powerful New Music Video

Will Humphrey, a 20-year-old aspiring director and Northumbria University student, spoke to Spark Sunderland about his latest project — a powerful music video with a strong message.

Humphrey teamed up with local singer Carlie Simons to bring her vision for The Woman You Become to life. The track tackles the impact of substance abuse and its devastating effects on family relationships.
“It’s a very important thing to share and talk about,” Humphrey told Spark. “The more we can talk about it, the more we can raise awareness.”
