Sunderland launches one of the UK’s largest digital city-space screens

Earlier this year, Sunderland City Council launched The Pavilion at Keel Square, featuring one of the UK’s largest semi-transparent screens (20m×5m).

The screen will showcase digital artwork from global and local artists, interactive experiences, live sports events, and work by students from Sunderland University’s creative industries.

Before the opening of Culture House, The Pavilion aims to provide a platform for the local community to engage with emerging technologies and creative exhibitions, as part of Expo Sunderland.
