South Tyneside Sparkles with Festive Cheer: Winter Parade Returns Friday December 6th

South Tyneside’s annual Winter Parade will light up the streets on Friday, December 6, from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.
In partnership with The Cultural Spring, the South Tyneside Winter Parade invites everyone to enjoy a magical evening showcasing the highlights of this year’s Christmas events.
The parade starts at Ocean Road towards the seafront at 5:30 pm, showcasing fantastic performers for those lining the street. The performance concludes at Bents Park.
Reflecting on the South Tyneside Winter Parade 2023
Councillor Audrey Huntley, Deputy Leader of South Tyneside Council with responsibility for Culture, Leisure and the Visitor Economy, said: “The festive season is such a wonderful time of year for families and friends to get together, celebrate and have fun and we want to bring the magic of Christmas to South Tyneside.”

Cooperating with The Cultural Spring, last year’s event included family-friendly entertainment and ended with fireworks and fire performers on Littlehaven Beach. The Winter Parade was supported by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF).
