Adams will then play 10 other venues around the UK, including Manchester’s AO Arena and The O2 in London.

Whilst pre-sale tickets were made available on Wednesday through the official Bryan Adam’s website mailing list, general sale tickets were released at 9am today.

According to The Newcastle Chronicle, when discussing his UK performances, Adams said: “I’ve been gigging in the UK for such a long time now and each time I play here I remember why I fell in love with UK audiences.”

As an artist who has performed over 3,000 concerts worldwide, Adams is certainly no stranger to being on the road, embracing the rock and roll lifestyle.

Currently, he is in Europe on his So Happy It Hurts tour, and the announcement of his next tour shows the singer’s commitment to live performances.

Adams is no stranger to the North East and amongst his UK performances during his 40-plus-year career, he has twice played Gateshead International Stadium, in July 1992, following the success of his 1991 single (Everything I Do) I Do It for You, and two years later, when he performed to 38,000 fans.

Given Adams’ success, with an estimated 75 to 100 million records sold worldwide, along with the popularity of his previous performances in the North East, tickets are bound to sell fast.
