The best places to go for mother’s day in and around Sunderland

With Mother’s Day fast approaching on March 10 we’ve taken a look at the best events going on around the North East.

These events are perfect for a last-minute Mother’s Day gift or if you’re just wanting to give your mother an extra treat on her special day. These are perfect if you do not want to break the bank but make sure she has the special day she deserves.

• Stack Seaburn 

Stack Seaburn is running a free ABBA fabulous event on Mother’s Day between 2pm and 4pm that will consist of an ABBA stage show. As a special Mother’s Day treat, every mam will also receive a free glass of prosecco!

• The Botanist

As part of their first Mother’s Day open, The Botanist in Sunderland will be serving an extra special Sunday roast. Each mother will receive a free Poppy & Pink Gin Punch with their meal!

Mother’s Day lunch at The Peacock is a great shout to treat your mam. Running between 12pm and 5pm, you can choose between afternoon tea or a Sunday roast with a free glass of bubbly for mam.
