The show is based around the music that is played on that day. The idea of the show is that when you listen to the music playing, it will trigger a memory or an experience that can be related to the song. These memories can range from good to bad but then the listeners can then know that they aren’t the only ones with those kinds of experiences and memories.

These experiences and memories are things that most people would not openly admit to and so they can relate to them when listening to the show at the same time while feeling comfortable to keep it to themselves and in the process, a little advice is given for bad experiences or just in generally.

The music that I play on the show is Urban and Hip Hop. Urban and Hip Hop could range from the olden days (the more well-known artists like Usher, Missy Elliot or Drake and Beyoncé) to the more current and modern-day songs (artists like Post Malone, Cardi B, Kendrick Lamar) and these could relate to most age groups. Just for a bit of a change and as a bit of a tradition on the show, I play Throwbacks, (artists like Elton John, Frank Sinatra, Lou Bega), at the end of each hour of the show just to relate to more listeners, from young people to the older listeners.
