Lights Out Parade

The Walking dead roam the streets of Sunderland!
You couldn’t miss the giant tentacles appearing from buildings last week on the run up to halloween. This along with activities and workshops for all the family was part of the first ever #LightsOut Festival in the city centre of Sunderland.
To end the Festival more than 400 young people and families paraded the streets. From Mowbray Park to Keel Square, ghosts, witches and even pirates walked (and danced) the spooky Sunderland.
The much less scary Mayor of Sunderland Councillor David Snowdon and Mayoress Councillor Dianne Snowdon also joined the march thought the streets.
