A second FanZone will come to Sunderland

After Englands victory on Tuesday, Sunderland BID have announced that there will be a second FanZone at Low row which people can use for free.
There will still be a FanZone in place at Sunniside Live for those attending the two day music festival which Spark will have coverage of.
The FanZone location had been previously agreed by Sunderland BID, Sunniside Live and the other businesses several months ago.
The BID represent the businesses in the city centre and made a decision to place the FanZone is as many locations as possible throughout the summer as part of a wider programme of Summer in the City activities.
At the time no one could of predicted Englands success at the World Cup, so when they won the game the Businesses Improvement District began working on ways for everyone to enjoy the match on the big screen.
The new FanZone venue has a capacity of 2,500 so organisers are urging people to arrive in plenty of time to guarantee spot within the FanZone.
Which means good news for people who are attending Sunniside Live and those who aren’t will still get to watch the game on the big screen.
Under 18s will be allowed into the event zone until 6pm, after which time, they will need to be accompanied by a responsible adult which comes as part of the license.
All alcohol must be purchased at the venue and bag checks will be in operation on all entrances.
If England win the BID will review the locations of future screenings.
The England match will also available in many city centre pubs and other venues across the City of Sunderland.
