Spark’s Big Summer: New Summer Schedule Launches Monday

Our brand new summer schedule launches Monday (4th June) with a brand new look at weekends and some reshuffles across our weekday programmes.

Spark at the Weekend is changing! Don’t worry firm favourites Cheesy Pop, Spark Gold and The Local Music Show all stay exactly where they are!

But we’ve got a number of new shows joining the line up as Abbie Burgess and Jess Robinson among the new faces at weekends.

Abbie heads up a brand new show ‘Lazy Sundays’ every Sunday from 10am-12pm, which is part of a new relaxing Sunday morning schedule, including Sunday morning religious show MaxLife at 8am.

Liam Taylor moves to 3pm on Saturdays is extended to 6pm as Jess Robinson takes over Saturday’s from 12pm-3pm with a new look show.

Spark Voices with Katie Baggott moves to a new earlier time slot of 9am and is extended to 11am.

Ethan Lowerson-Marshall returns to Saturday Nights as he and Adam Wood bring you the Saturday Night Party from 8pm-10pm each week.

And that’s followed by our brand new The Club Night Experience as Tom Glenwright guides you through from 10pm til 3am on Saturday into Sunday.

Jacob Moorfoot meanwhile moves from Sunday morning to Sunday evenings hosting a new three hour evening show from 7pm.

While Stevie B’s Funk Soul Brother moves slightly later to 10pm through til midnight.

During the week, our specialist show continue with Dance Revolution every Friday, The Takedown every Thursday and Kat goes solo on Launchpad with the best new music each Monday.

Access All Indie continues each Tuesday with a new presenter, as Rebecca Dono takes over from Andi on Tuesday 7pm-9pm.

Nordic Sounds moves to a new later slot each Tuesday from 9pm and The Hoedown changes days as it moves to a new regular home on Mondays at 9pm.

Also on weekday evenings, The Late Show and Underground Beats continue every Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.

On Spark Breakfast, Nathan, EddyBrek and Nick continue on their current shows from Monday-Thursday while on Friday’s Betty Ball moves from Daytime to wake you up for the final day of the working week!

Current Friday Spark Breakfast host, Jonny Beattie moves back to DriveTime as he takes over Tuesday’s in the new Drive slot which now runs from 4pm-7pm.

Liam Milburn and Adam Wood also join the Drive team as they take on Wednesday and Friday’s respectively.

Ryan & Beth continue on Drive as they move to Monday’s and Rebecca Dono moves to Thursday DriveTime for the summer.

On Daytime, Jordan Blyth, Abbie Burgess and Tyler Selby continue but each swap days. Jordan takes over Tuesday’s, Abbie moves to Thursday’s and Tyler hosts on Friday’s.

Hayden Beckett takes on Monday daytime from 12pm-3pm.

While, ArtyParti, The Bunker and Lights, Camera, Action continue in their usual slots weekdays at 11am.
