Arctic Monkeys announce UK Tour with North East date

Arctic Monkeys have announced a host of UK Tour dates ahead of their new album release and it includes a stop in the North East.

The Indie band formed in Sheffield are best known for hits such as I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor, R U Mine? and Do I Wanna Know.

The news of their tour comes just a few days since the band released details of their new album ‘Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino’.

The brand new album will be released on Friday the 11th of May, with Arctic Monkeys today announcing a number of arena shows in September.

The dates include shows in London, Manchester and Birmingham but also include a welcome return to the the North East with a gig at the Arena Newcastle on Thursday 27th September 2018.

The band tweeted the news this morning, seemingly excited about hitting the road.

The Lemon Twigs will be special guests on the September dates, including the Newcastle performance.

Tickets will go on sale 9.00am Friday 13th April and are available online or from the booking hotline.
