SAFC reduces price of seasons card renewals

Sunderland Football Club have announced today (Thursday 15th March) that they’re reducing the price of season cards by up to 40% for the new season.
The side are facing the realistic chance of going to down to League One and say they’ve “recognised the loyalty of its season card holders” by reducing costs of renewals.
Season card prices will also be guaranteed for three seasons, with supporters paying no more than this season’s cost should they renew.
The news comes after the club announced that the Premier Concourse will close at the end of the season, meaning season card holders in that area of the stadium cannot renew in this season’s seat.
Those who currently have a season card in the upper tier of the ground should have already received written notification of the closure and the options moving forward.
Meanwhile, adult season cards across the stadium have been reduced by up to 16%, with prices beginning at £310, less than £13.50 a game.
SAFC had identified a significant price jump for those leaving the under 16 category, therefore a new category for under 18s has been introduced, with prices from £80, less than £3.50 per game.
Anyone buying an adult, under 22 or over 65 ticket will also be able to get an under 8 season card free of charge for the Family Zone with additional under 8 tickets priced at just £25.
Additional concessionary seating areas in the centre of the East Stand (Blocks L4-6), will be available, including family bundles.
The deadline for season card renewals is 24 April, and full information on pricing and how to renew can be found here.
