Slam Dunk Festival returns for 2018!
Written by Lindsey Gray on 14th March 2018
Slam Dunk Festival is back for another round of rock, all things pop punk and even a bit of metal this year over the May Day bank holiday weekend, with 3 days of music across 3 venues around the country for fans to get their teeth into.
This year sees not one, but two joint headliners in the form of Good Charlotte and Jimmy Eat World, joined by emo veterans Taking Back Sunday, Pvris, Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, Sleeping with Sirens, Creeper and State Champs as just a handful in a sea of bands playing alongside them.
If they aren’t your cup of tea, pop punk’s finest and festival favourites, Zebrahead and Goldfinger are back again for another year of carnage. If something heavier is more your thing, Impericon have got your back with Every Time I Die, Northlane and Comeback Kid and many more to keep your weekend heavy.
The festival will take place from 26th-28th May and stops off in Leeds City Centre, Hatfield Park and Birmingham NEC over the weekend. If you fancy making the weekend last a bit longer there is the famous Slam Dunk Afterparty right after the festival to delay those festival blues and close Slam Dunk with a bang!
Tickets can be purchased directly from https://slamdunkmusic.com with festival tickets priced at £49, or go the whole hog and get a festival + afterparty for £55.
See you there!
