Paloma Faith first act for Mouth of the Tyne Festival

Brit Award winner Paloma Faith has been announced as the first act for this years Mouth of the Tyne Festival.
The signer well known for her retro and eccentric style will open the festival in Tynemouth on Thursday 5 July 2018.
Paloma is currently riding high in the charts with her number one album The Architect and is on course to become the first British woman in chart history to have four double platinum albums in a row.
She’s also up for British Female Solo Artist at the Brit Awards this February, an accolade she previously won in 2015.
Meanwhile the singer’s already heading to the North East for a gig at the Arena in Newcastle in March.
Mouth of the Tyne festival has been an annual event in the North East music calendar since 2004.
Previously acts such as James Bay, Lemar, Elbow and Tom Odell have performed as part of the event which takes place at the Tynemouth Priory and Castle.
Organisers have said more artists will be announced in the next few weeks.
