If you’re a fan of nineties and noughties cheesy pop music music then look no further as there’s some heading for our doorstep.
A new retro music festival, Kubix Festival, is heading for Sunderland with some big names from our childhood taking to the stage.
Ronan Keating, best known for finding fame as part of Boyzone, will headline the Friday night which looks like it took inspiration from our Cheesy Pop Show!
The two-day event takes place at Herrington Country Park on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th of August.
B*Witched, best known for their hit C’est la vie and boy band East 17 will perform as part of the line up.
Peter Andre and Right Said Fred, known for the song Too Sexy For My Shirt, complete the Friday line up.
Meanwhile the Saturday takes a more retro feel with The Boomtown rats, Fun Lovin’ Criminals and Buzzcocks performing with a headliner yet to be announced.
Kubix Festival is a new major music festival coming to the North East bringing major recording artists spanning four decades to Sunderland.
