Guess what time of year it is? Yes, you are correct we have reached the stage where summertime festivals are with us. Here are Spark we have one of the biggest dance festival in the UK sorted. Scott McGerty and the Dance Revolution team will be covering the whole weekend for you. We will bring you festival preview, review, artists interviews, crowd reactions and a Dance Revolution special for you to start your September on Friday 1st.

Creamfields has developed even further this year with some great additions to its already amazing stage productions. Creamfields has increased its whole production style this year adding even better and bigger production characteristics. Last year cream brought the addition of the customer made steel year stage; this was brand new for a dance event in the UK and went off with a storm.

This year the addition of stages of cream at nation which was renown for its significance in the city of Liverpool makes a entrance to the dance event.  Nation is designed to be a outdoors version of the famous venue in the city in celebration of the original start of the cream brand. This weekend sees some of the best dance DJ’s perform to the Daresbury crowd. The Friday see’s Armin Van Burren, Sigma. Annie Mac and for the first year – The Chainsmokers. Friday is always known the true start to the best bank holiday weekend of the year for many!

Saturday: Above & Beyond

No one can put on a trance show like these guys. They have the ability to hypnotise you within seconds. Don’t drive afterwards kids. Music is just euphoric.


Sunday: Eric Prydz

Prydz puts on the best laser show in the world, no question. The blend of music and visuals is  unique experience that you can’t miss out on.
