COMPETITION: Win Ricky Gervais: Life on the Road prizes with Spark Film Show!

Written by on 17th August 2016

To celebrate the release of Ricky Gervais’ hilarious new comedy David Brent: Life on the Road, Spark Film Show are giving away some typically David Brent prizes to two lucky listeners, courtesy of Oddyo Productions.

The prizes include a t-shirt, a pair of sunglasses, an amp-style speaker, some guitar picks and an office stapler, much like the one Tim puts in jelly in hit TV series The Office.

Twelve years ago, David Brent (Ricky Gervais) was a regional manager for a mid-level paper merchants.  In Summer 2016, get ready to see him on the big screen as he chases fame and fortune in Life on the Road.  Now working as a rep selling cleaning (and ladies personal hygiene) products up and down the country, Brent hasn’t given up his dream of becoming a rock star – or more specifically, singer/songwriter for fledgling rock band ‘Foregone Conclusion’.  As he assembles a group of mercenary session musicians, a talented sidekick for street cred and an overpriced yet underwhelmed tour manager, he embarks upon a self-financed UK tour coming to a venue near every major city near you.

With original music by Ricky Gervais and not to mention a few of the classics – ‘Free Love Freeway’ and ‘Equality Street’, this movie will do for every mid-level sales rep with a dream of becoming a rock god as what the Rolling Stones did for rock ’n’ roll!

You can enter the competition in any of the following three ways:

You must be 18 or over to enter, you can enter once via each method (so no more than three times per person). You can find full competition rules, terms and conditions here. The competition closes on Saturday 20th August at 7pm, and the winners will be announced on Breakfast on 21st August from 9am.
