Sarah Jayne Dunn (Sally), best known for playing Mandy Richardson in Hollyoaks and Luke Rutherford (Harry) were at the Sunderland Empire today (Wednesday 14th April at 1pm) to launch the fabulous new pink Go North East bus.
The Sunderland Empire Showstopper bus has been designed to incorporate the key feature of the tower and carry the key message ‘The West End of the North East’. As well as serving as a regular reminder to North East residents of the unique heritage in Sunderland the bus also celebrates the range of show stopping performances that take place on a regular basis and encourages theatre-goers to use the bus..
The Showstopper, service 9 runs up to every 15 minutes and stops within easy walking distance of the Sunderland Empire.
