Orange & T-Mobile Merge

The creation of Britain’s largest mobile phone operator has been given the green light. The Office for Fair Trading and the European Commission have cleared the merger of Orange and T-Mobile.

The tie-up of the UK’s third and fourth largest operators will give the combined firms a 37 percent market share and nearly 30 million customers.
