Girl dies after suspected M cat use

An 18 year old girl from Newcastle is feared to be the latest victim to die from mephedrone also known as Meow Meow or M cat.

A post-mortem has so far proved inconclusive, and toxicology reports are taking place. It is still unclear what caused her tragic death but it is believed she died of a suspected drugs overdose.

The plant fertilizer has already claimed the lives of six people in the last week.

Joslyne Marie Coburn died suddenly at Newcastle general hospital on Sunday night.
