Too Broad A Church Crate Diggin Sessions 22nd Feb-15th March

After playing host to some of the regions biggest underground club nights in the shape of Shindig/KlickKlack/Jaunt>/Habit. Too Broad A Church’s Mark Ryan has devised a months worth of specials introducing some hot new talent to the region. In the form of Crate Diggin Sessions.

The plan is to allocate 1 whole hour of his weekly show (Monday 9-10pm) over to DJ’s in the form of guest mixes looking to show there skills and music tastes. In the first hour Mark will be scouring the globe for the hottest new tunes and dusting off the vinyl and CD collections  in warm up duties for the resident guests.

The Crate Diggin Sessions will return in the summer so if your a budding DJ wanting to express yourself. Get in touch!

“Been DJing for 15 years, worked mainly in Middlesbrough for Academy, Millennium, Arena, Dickens Inn. DJ Yoda is a huge influence, but I originally started DJing due to Jeremy Healy. Listening to his live mixtapes were the reason I started myself. DJ Yoda is the most skilled DJ I have ever seen in my life. He takes the art of DJing and makes the turntables more like a musical instrument. My main influences at the moment are Fake Blood and Laidback Luke. I just like the sound they are playing right now. The Electro house with the Drum & Bass style basslines”.

“Been a bedroom DJ for around 17 years. Never really played out much, couple of clubs and student radio. Started posting DJ mix videos to You Tube around 18 months ago. Decided to do comedy, theme, computer etc music instead of generic dance as I’m getting on I feel detached from the dance scene and don’t know much about it anymore. Decided to create my own scene/ genre entitled Neo Light Entertainment. None of the videos I do are meant to be taken seriously”.
